Tampere Hall, Small auditorium - Yliopistonkatu 55, 33100
Tampere, Finland

Everyone is beautiful, everyone is important. This is what this musical story is all about. This musical story for the whole family is based on the children’s book “Sinä olet kaunis” (You are beautiful) written by Eppu Nuotio and illustrated by Kristiina Louhi. The book will be published by WSOY at the time of this concert. The book is a beautiful story of a young girl’s, Myrri’s, troubles, but also about getting help and support. The book has been inspired by Charles Perrault’s fairy tales.

The ensemble TampereRaw interprets Timo Klemettinen’s rhythmic music with an easy approach. Together with Johanna Elovaara’s dance, Kristiina Louhi’s illustrations and Eppu Nuotio’s narrative the audience will be guided to the world of Myrri’s enchanting story.

Author Eppu Nuotio has written more than 70 books, television scripts, musicals, plays and songs, and has been awarded of her work as a children’s author with the Kaarina Helakisa literary award. Kristiina Louhi is one of the most well-known Finnish illustrators and has also been awarded with numerous prizes, such as the Finlandia Junior award and the Pro Finlandia medal.
