After enchanting twelve Finnish cities with sold-out concerts in September, The Music of Hans Zimmer returns to Finland in 2026. The concerts will take place on Friday 7 August at Tampere Hall and on Sunday 9 August at the Madetoja Hall in Oulu. The programme features an impressive selection of beloved works by the world-famous composer. The orchestra is conducted by Karel De Wilde, with talented Belgian soprano Louise Kuyvenhoven as soloist.
The Music of Hans Zimmer concerts showcase some of the most loved classics in film music performed by the Belgian orchestra La Chapelle Sauvage. The repertoire is built around the compositions of Hans Zimmer, winner of countless awards including an Academy Award, two Golden Globes, and four Grammys. The programme includes music from The Da Vinci Code, Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar, Kung Fu Panda, The Lion King, the Pirates of the Caribbean series, and Sherlock Holmes.
La Chapelle Sauvage, an orchestra of young professional musicians, is conducted by its founder Karel De Wilde, with soprano Louise Kuyvenhoven performing as the concert’s soloist. An exceptionally gifted musician, Kuyvenhoven has been selected for the elite training programme of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, one of the world’s most prestigious music academies. She has also performed at the Belgian National Opera and is a member of the Opéra de Lyon Studio.
The musical experience is further enhanced with video clips from the films and photographs from their respective eras shown on large screens.

Enjoy a buffet-style selection featuring, among other delights, locally produced cheeses, cold cuts, and mouth-watering marinated treats. Special dietary requirements are accommodated based on advance notice at the time of booking. A pre-booked seat at the antipasto table served before the performance €22.90. The table is set 1.5 hours before the performance begins on the 3rd floor of Tampere Hall. There is a bar in the space where drinks can be ordered on the spot. Check whether the menu is available for the performance and come enjoy!
