Great news from Velhovuori! The kings of Jurahevi — Mr. Hevisaurus, Milli Pilli, Komppi Momppi, Riffi Raffi, and Muffi Puffi — the beloved band for both children and adults, Hevisaurus, has completed their brand-new album!

The new album is titled On World Tour and was released in February 2025. Two singles were released ahead of the album: Hevimetallisarvet (“Heavy Metal Horns”) and the Halloween favorite Kalloween. On the On World Tour album, Hevisaurus travels the world with twelve songs, performing in places such as Ireland, Egypt, Germany, and the warmth of Thailand. On World Tour is the ninth studio album of Hevisaurus, whose recording career began sixteen years ago. Their previous album, Bändikouluun! (“To Band School!”), was released in 2019.

Hevisaurus, the all-family favorite band formed by four dinosaurs and a dragon, was born in 2009 from the idea to create high-quality heavy metal music for kids and the young at heart. This roaring jurahevi band has released nine studio albums and won the Emma Award twice for Best Children’s Music Album. Three of their nine albums have reached gold status, two have sold platinum, and their 2009 debut album Jurahevin kuninkaat (“Kings of Jurahevi”) sold double platinum in its first year.

In recent years, Hevisaurus has also been on world tours quite literally, as the band called Heavysaurus has gained great popularity in the German-speaking countries of Central Europe. You can check out Heavysaurus’ amazing shows on TikTok here.

Enjoy a buffet-style selection featuring, among other delights, locally produced cheeses, cold cuts, and mouth-watering marinated treats. Special dietary requirements are accommodated based on advance notice at the time of booking. A pre-booked seat at the antipasto table served before the performance €22.90. The table is set 1.5 hours before the performance begins on the 3rd floor of Tampere Hall. There is a bar in the space where drinks can be ordered on the spot. Check whether the menu is available for the performance and come enjoy!
