Johanna Kurkela’s international band Eye of Melian embarks on their first Finnish tour!

Johanna Kurkela’s Eye of Melian brings its breathtaking fantasy-symphonic world on tour in Finland for the very first time. In March 2026, this international ensemble will take to theatre stages across the country, transforming concert halls into cinematic spaces where orchestral grandeur meets ethereal storytelling.

The band — founded by Dutch composer-producer Martijn Westerholt (Delain, ex-Within Temptation) and featuring Finland’s own Johanna Kurkela, American lyricist Robin La Joy, and Finnish orchestrator-producer Mikko P. Mustonen — creates music that feels like stepping into the heart of a grand fantasy film.

With their brand-new album Forest of Forgetting (Napalm Records, February 20, 2026), Eye of Melian invites audiences to immerse themselves in a new symphonic story world. Expect enchanting piano themes, lush orchestral tones, and songs shimmering with northern magic — performed in the intimate and powerful atmosphere of the theatre.

Cinematic composition and imagination-fueling storytelling make Eye of Melian’s concert a journey — into ancient forests, forgotten memories, and places where light and myth are born.
