In November, it will be 80 years since the birth of Finnish music legend Kari Tapio. To honor the anniversary year, a major concert tour featuring top artists will travel across Finland.
The tour showcases Kari Tapio’s iconic blue-and-white songs along with touching stories from his life and career, woven together by fellow artists and musicians.
At Tampere-talo, performers include:
Eino Grön, Eija Kantola, Marita Taavitsainen, Tuure Kilpeläinen, Anneli Mattila, Sami Hintsanen, Kari Vepsä, Ilkka Vainio, Lloyd Libiso, Juse Venäläinen, and Joona Jalkanen.

Kari Tapio, whose real name was Kari Jalkanen, was born in Suonenjoki on November 22, 1945. Over his career, he was awarded 21 gold records, 8 platinum records, and one double platinum. He received the Iskelmä-Finlandia award in 2003, and won five Emma Awards, including Best Male Artist in both 1999 and 2005.

Enjoy a buffet-style selection featuring, among other delights, locally produced cheeses, cold cuts, and mouth-watering marinated treats. Special dietary requirements are accommodated based on advance notice at the time of booking. A pre-booked seat at the antipasto table served before the performance €22.90. The table is set 1.5 hours before the performance begins on the 3rd floor of Tampere Hall. There is a bar in the space where drinks can be ordered on the spot. Check whether the menu is available for the performance and come enjoy!
