The loss of biodiversity and habitats, alongside climate change, is one of the greatest threats to our planet. Now Mimmit are tackling this problem together with children!

In the concert, children themselves get to think about and suggest different ways to help species such as the willow tit, polar bear, and eel survive into the time when they are adults.

The Superheroes of Nature Conservation concert also highlights what kinds of habitats different species need, and how even many familiar animals require our help. The show includes brand new songs as well as well-loved Mimmit hits. Through music, children will meet animals such as the dugong, yak, and panda. The songs also take the audience on a respectful hike through a national park, appreciating nature and fellow hikers alike.

This wonderful and captivating concert combines music, dance, and animations, helping explain this complex issue in a way that children can understand. The animations bring to life animals, ancient primeval forests, and glaciers. Children also get to participate in different interactive activities during the concert.

Although the theme is serious, in true Mimmit style the concert is full of energy and inspiration, encouraging children to take part in concrete ways.

Mimmit is one of Finland’s best-known children’s music groups. They have performed over 1,100 concerts in Finland and abroad, and released nine albums in Finnish and two in Swedish. Their album Ystävyys (“Friendship”) was chosen as Children’s Album of the Year in 2017, and Mimmit were named Band of the Year in 2024. Altogether, Mimmit’s albums have received three Emma Award nominations. Mimmit’s songs and videos have been streamed over 25 million times across different platforms!
