ONEVIOLIN, A RISING SENSATION, ANNOUNCES A MAJOR TOUR AND RELEASES A NEW ALBUM

Rapidly rising to fame, ONEVIOLIN is a Finnish violinist who boldly crosses musical boundaries with a globally unique concept. ONEVIOLIN creates original versions of well-known hits using only one instrument — the violin.

The success story began when Pekka Niemi, who studied at the prestigious Royal College of Music in London, started developing a concept in 2018 where he arranged popular songs using nothing but the violin — with up to a thousand violin tracks in a single piece. Videos uploaded to YouTube by the Vaasa-born musician quickly went viral, sparking the start of his rapidly growing music career.

In 2019, ONEVIOLIN performed with JVG on the sold-out stages of Ruisrock and Blockfest. The following year, he played his first solo festival shows and impressed audiences on Talent Finland, where he reached the finals. ONEVIOLIN released his debut album in 2022, and his Finnish tours since then have been nearly sold out. Last year, he also captivated audiences in Budapest, performing two sold-out concerts for nearly a thousand people.

Now, the story continues as ONEVIOLIN releases his second album on Friday, April 11, titled TWO. The album features grand international hits and three of last year’s most-played Finnish radio songs — all in stunning violin arrangements. Expect fresh interpretations of songs by Adele, Avicii, Coldplay, David Guetta, Harry Styles, Swedish House Mafia, Mirella, KUUMA, and BESS, among others.
