The internationally acclaimed music spectacle Paris! The Show now at Tampere Hall!
Created by director Gil Marsalla, Paris! The Show is a tribute to the iconic French songs and cabaret culture of the 20th century. Seen in Finland for the first time, the performance transports the audience to the magical streets of Montmartre and the legendary cabaret stages of Paris, while offering a generous dose of the most beloved post-war French chansons.
If Piaf! The Show highlighted France’s most treasured singer of all time, Édith Piaf, this production also shines the spotlight on other post-war French stars such as Charles Aznavour, Jacques Brel, Yves Montand, Charles Trenet, Josephine Baker, Maurice Chevalier, Lucienne Boyer, and Gilbert Bécaud.
“It’s fantastic to bring such a charismatic cast and an amazing live band to Finland with a brand-new show and story. The previously sold-out Piaf nights proved that French music has a special place in the hearts of Finns. This show too will be an emotional experience that speaks to audiences of all ages,” says Juha Leinonen, Development Director at Sunborn Events Ltd.
Touring internationally since 2014, Paris! The Show tells the story of young American Emily, who dreams of a bohemian artist’s life in Paris. In Montmartre she befriends waitress Édith Piaf and her friend Charles Aznavour.
“The story intertwines fairytale and reality with the most beautiful French songs of the post-war era. Director Gil Marsalla can be credited with bringing French cabaret, Édith Piaf, and Charles Aznavour to millions of new audiences,” emphasizes Johan Hollsten from Hollstenevents.

Enjoy a buffet-style selection featuring, among other delights, locally produced cheeses, cold cuts, and mouth-watering marinated treats. Special dietary requirements are accommodated based on advance notice at the time of booking. A pre-booked seat at the antipasto table served before the performance €22.90. The table is set 1.5 hours before the performance begins on the 3rd floor of Tampere Hall. There is a bar in the space where drinks can be ordered on the spot. Check whether the menu is available for the performance and come enjoy!
