The Irish National Dance Company of Ireland arrives in Finland in spring 2026. This acclaimed two-hour show — combining traditional Irish dance and live music with modern stage technology — has already been seen by more than 7 million people in 50 countries worldwide.
Formed of award-winning Irish dancers and world-class musicians, The National Dance Company of Ireland has toured globally with its popular Rhythm of the Dance show since 1998. The group last performed in Finland in 2024.
This fast-paced and entertaining show takes audiences on a journey through Irish history, from ancient legends to the vibrant present day. The performance features world-class live musicians and star soloists, as well as award-winning dancers — more than 20 talented performers in total. On stage you’ll see Irish dance from all eras along with colorful, spectacular costumes. The show is internationally regarded as one of the most popular Irish dance productions in the world.
Irish dance is best known for its rapid footwork and the dancer’s still upper body. In show-style productions, the use of the torso is freer. Performing Irish dance companies, such as The National Dance Company and Riverdance, have taken Irish dance to new heights over the past decades. In Finland, too, Irish dance has its own dedicated fanbase and community of hobbyists.

Enjoy a buffet-style selection featuring, among other delights, locally produced cheeses, cold cuts, and mouth-watering marinated treats. Special dietary requirements are accommodated based on advance notice at the time of booking. A pre-booked seat at the antipasto table served before the performance €22.90. The table is set 1.5 hours before the performance begins on the 3rd floor of Tampere Hall. There is a bar in the space where drinks can be ordered on the spot. Check whether the menu is available for the performance and come enjoy!
