Guitar legend Steve Hackett brings his Genesis Greats tour to Tampere Hall

British guitarist Steve Hackett, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is coming to perform at Tampere Hall. The upcoming tour will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Genesis’s The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway album.

Hackett’s timeless and elegant guitar work defined Genesis’s sound throughout the 1970s. With his world-class band, he has already brought several of the band’s classic albums to life in critically acclaimed live performances. Fans’ wishes to hear songs from The Lamb have now been answered — and what better way to celebrate the album’s half-century than by performing its gems live.

In addition to the highlights from this iconic album, the evening will also feature unforgettable tracks from Steve Hackett’s solo career, along with some of Genesis’s most beloved and foundational songs. Hackett’s latest album, The Circus and the Nightwhale, was released in February 2024.

Joining Hackett on tour is a skilled band featuring keyboardist Roger King, vocalist Nad Sylvan, bassist Jonas Reingold, woodwind and keyboard player Rob Townsend, and drummer Felix Lehrman.
