The Conscript Band Reservists Association’s “Gold Records” Mega Concert brings to the stage iconic songs that have played on radios, record players, and in hearts across generations. The concert celebrates hits that have surpassed the gold record milestone — from 1960s classics by The Rolling Stones and Aretha Franklin to beloved Finnish favorites by Dingo and Jenni Vartiainen.
Gold Records is a two-hour musical spectacle where the power of Finland’s military music reserve meets the shine and rhythm of timeless hit songs.
On stage, you’ll see an ensemble of over 50 performers, made up of reservist musicians and artists who have served in the Finnish Defence Forces Conscript Band or other military bands. Led by conductor Soila Takanen, the soloists and performers will deliver a show filled with musical brilliance, infectious energy, and guaranteed surprises!
Following the sold-out Disco Inferno concert in 2025, which had audiences dancing in the aisles, the Conscript Band Reservists are raising the bar even higher. Gold Records is a tribute to hit music, its creators, and its irresistible rhythms — uniting listeners of all ages and eras.
The Conscript Band Reservists Association (Varusmiessoittokunnan reserviläiset ry), founded in 2014, is a national defense organization that supports the Finnish Defence Forces Conscript Band and the military music field, while providing training for reservist musicians.

Enjoy a buffet-style selection featuring, among other delights, locally produced cheeses, cold cuts, and mouth-watering marinated treats. Special dietary requirements are accommodated based on advance notice at the time of booking. A pre-booked seat at the antipasto table served before the performance €22.90. The table is set 1.5 hours before the performance begins on the 3rd floor of Tampere Hall. There is a bar in the space where drinks can be ordered on the spot. Check whether the menu is available for the performance and come enjoy!
