1960s rock legend Arthur Brown on his first tour of Finland!

Known especially for his classic hit Fire and spectacular stage show, British musician Arthur Brown is coming to Finland this October. Performing with his band The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, the rock pioneer will appear in Tampere, Helsinki, Kokkola, and Turku.

Since releasing his debut album in 1968, Brown has had a significant impact on the history of heavy rock. His theatrical stage performances featuring striking face masks and a flaming helmet have inspired artists like Alice Cooper, David Bowie, Kiss, and King Diamond. Musically, Brown’s psychedelic rock, soul, blues, and prog-fused albums have played a key role in the development of heavy music, especially thanks to his versatile, operatic voice.

Over the years, “The God of Hellfire” has released 19 studio albums with various bands and regularly collaborated with artists such as Alice Cooper and Hawkwind. He is also remembered for his role as a priest in the 1975 film adaptation of The Who’s Tommy rock opera.

Despite his age, Arthur Brown continues to perform actively and record music. His latest album, Monster’s Ball, was released in 2022. His last visit to Finland was at the Keitelejazz festival in Äänekoski in 2011. However, this upcoming tour marks his very first solo tour in Finland — a rare treat this October.

Enjoy a buffet-style selection featuring, among other delights, locally produced cheeses, cold cuts, and mouth-watering marinated treats. Special dietary requirements are accommodated based on advance notice at the time of booking. A pre-booked seat at the antipasto table served before the performance €22.90. The table is set 1.5 hours before the performance begins on the 3rd floor of Tampere Hall. There is a bar in the space where drinks can be ordered on the spot. Check whether the menu is available for the performance and come enjoy!
