Jonathan Cohen, artistic director of the world-renowned early music ensemble Les Violons du Roy, makes his debut in Tampere. The program is devoted to W. A. Mozart’s late masterpieces: the stormy Don Giovanni Overture and the grand E-flat major Symphony, both brimming with depth beneath classical elegance.
Kristian Bezuidenhout, one of today’s most acclaimed period specialists and winner of multiple major recording awards, brings his artistry to the intensely dramatic and passionate C minor Piano Concerto.
