The international youth orchestra La Chapelle Sauvage will arrive in Finland this September with their concert The Music of Hans Zimmer.
Audiences can look forward to a wonderful selection of the renowned composer’s most beloved works. The orchestra, conducted by Karel De Wilde, features the talented Belgian soprano Louise Kuyvenhoven as soloist.
The The Music of Hans Zimmer concerts taking place in Finland this September will present some of the most cherished classics of film music, performed by the Belgian La Chapelle Sauvage orchestra visiting Finland for the very first time. The orchestra, consisting of young professional musicians, is conducted by its founder Karel De Wilde, and the soloist is soprano Louise Kuyvenhoven. Exceptionally gifted, Louise has been selected for the elite training programme of the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, and she is also a member of the Lyon Opéra Studio in France. She has previously performed at the Belgian National Opera.
The concert programme features compositions by Hans Zimmer, winner of countless awards including an Oscar, two Golden Globes and four Grammys. The performance includes music from The Da Vinci Code, Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar, Kung Fu Panda, The Lion King, the Pirates of the Caribbean series and Sherlock Holmes.
The concerts will be held in intimate venues, with the musical experience enhanced by video clips from the films and photographs from their respective eras shown on screen.

Enjoy a buffet-style selection featuring, among other delights, locally produced cheeses, cold cuts, and mouth-watering marinated treats. Special dietary requirements are accommodated based on advance notice at the time of booking. A pre-booked seat at the antipasto table served before the performance €22.90. The table is set 1.5 hours before the performance begins on the 3rd floor of Tampere Hall. There is a bar in the space where drinks can be ordered on the spot. Check whether the menu is available for the performance and come enjoy!
