The WOMEX Festival is part of the global world music trade fair WOMEX, featuring 45 showcase concerts and a DJ Summit, which are also open to the public.

WOMEX – The World Music Expo is a five-day conference, trade fair, and showcase event celebrating the diversity and creativity of world music through international artist performances, film screenings, and opening and award ceremonies. Each October, over 2,600 participants (including 300 performing artists) from more than 90 countries gather in a European city.

Festival & Day Passes

Public tickets include three-day festival passes granting access to evening concerts at Tampere Hall, Tavara-asema, Torni Hotel Paja Congress, and Olympia, as well as film screenings at Arthouse Cinema Niagara (subject to venue capacity). Single-day passes are also available, allowing access to evening concerts on the selected day.

Festival Pass (Thu 23 Oct 20:00 – Sat 25 Oct 05:00)

Includes access to Tampere Hall (Main Hall & Small Hall), Tavara-asema, Torni Hotel Paja Congress, Olympia, WOMEX films at Niagara from 18:00 each evening and Club Summit at Tavara-asema (Fri–Sat 02:00–05:00)

Thursday Pass (23 Oct 20:00–02:00)

Includes access to Tampere Hall (Main Hall & Small Hall), Tavara-asema, Torni Hotel Paja Congress, Olympia, WOMEX films at Niagara from 18:00. Note: No Club Summit on Thursday.

Friday Pass (24 Oct 20:00–05:00)

Includes access to Tampere Hall (Main Hall & Small Hall), Tavara-asema, Torni Hotel Paja Congress, Olympia, WOMEX films at Niagara from 18:00 and Club Summit at Tavara-asema (02:00–05:00).

Saturday Pass (25 Oct 20:00–05:00)

Includes access to Tampere Hall (Main Hall & Small Hall), Tavara-asema, Torni Hotel Paja Congress, Olympia, WOMEX films at Niagara from 18:00 and Club Summit at Tavara-asema (02:00–05:00).

Access only to concerts in Tampere Hall Main Auditorium, WOMEX films at Niagara, and Club Summit (Fri–Sat).

Tampere Hall Thursday Pass (23 Oct 20:30–01:00)

Access only to concerts in Tampere Hall Main Auditorium and WOMEX films at Niagara. Note: No Club Summit on Thursday.

Tampere Hall Friday Pass (24 Oct 20:30–05:00)

Access only to concerts in Tampere Hall Main Auditorium, WOMEX films at Niagara, and Club Summit.

Tampere Hall Saturday Pass (25 Oct 20:30–05:00)

Access only to concerts in Tampere Hall Main Auditorium, WOMEX films at Niagara, and Club Summit.

Age Limit: 18+

All concerts are restricted to attendees aged 18 and over.

Wristbands will be distributed at the WOMEX desk in Tampere Hall starting Thu 23 Oct at 12:00 (TBC).

Each performance lasts 3 x 45 minutes per venue.

Wheelchair tickets are valid for Tampere Hall and Tavara-asema.

Entry is subject to venue capacity.
