We stand on the threshold of a new era. The world around us is changing rapidly, compelling us to consider the values on which we want to build our future. What role do culture and education play in an age defined by technological transformation, uncertainty, crises and constant change?
Art and culture are more than mere adornments of society or by-products of well-being. They help us understand ourselves and one another, imagine alternative futures and discuss the kind of world we want to build.
But what happens if we stop investing in culture and the arts? Do we have a future without culture and education? And what do we really give up if the importance of art and culture goes unrecognised – or if the conditions that allow them to thrive are gradually eroded?
This discussion, held as part of the Sound of Now concert series, invites us to reflect on these questions. Together with experts and influential voices in society, we will explore the future of culture, its significance for society and what we need to preserve our ability to imagine, think and create something new together.
Admission is free. The event lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Programme is subject to change.
