Doors open approximately half an hour before the performance. Showtime is at 7.30 pm. The performance lasts approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes, including an interval of approximately 25 minutes.

Rows 12–17 in the Small Auditorium are designated as an 18+ licensed area. Ticket holders seated in these rows may bring a drink purchased before the performance or during the interval into the auditorium. Please note that the age limit of 18 for the licensed seating area is strictly enforced, and minors are not permitted in this area.
Christmas nostalgia meets modern pop!
Beloved Christmas songs take on a new life as Ida Elina’s vocals and kantele transport audiences into the festive spirit at Tampere Hall on Thursday, 17 December 2026.
Ida Elina’s Christmas concert combines delicate, atmospheric moments with warmth, joy and a swinging festive spirit. The program features beloved Christmas classics from Finland and around the world, American Christmas favorites, more recent festive music and Ida Elina’s own Christmas songs, all colored by the distinctive sound of the kantele.
Internationally acclaimed and award-winning singer-songwriter and kantele artist Ida Elina is known for her unique way of combining the kantele, vocals and modern pop. Her album Valoisaa joulua – Bright Christmas was selected as Christmas Album of the Year by Finnish radio stations in 2016.
The audience can look forward to a warm, surprising and distinctive Christmas concert where festive nostalgia meets modern pop.

Enjoy a buffet-style selection featuring, among other delights, locally produced cheeses, cold cuts, and mouth-watering marinated treats. Special dietary requirements are accommodated based on advance notice at the time of booking. A pre-booked seat at the antipasto table served before the performance €22.90. The table is set 1.5 hours before the performance begins on the 3rd floor of Tampere Hall. There is a bar in the space where drinks can be ordered on the spot. Check whether the menu is available for the performance and come enjoy!
