From the opera at Versailles Palace to the Ballets Russes at Champs-Élysées, Paris has breathed to the rhythm of dance throughout the centuries. The evening in Tampere resonates with ballets born in the city of love, from the dance suite of Baroque master Rameau to Maurice Ravel’s tale of love; Igor Stravinsky, the composer of The Firebird, hailed it as the finest product of French music.
