Argentinian master guitarist Pablo Márquez is known for his sensitive interpretations and exceptional guitar skills, Márquez’s musical intelligence and unmatched technical prowess have made him a favored collaborator among contemporary composers.
His unique sound, heard in numerous recordings, have earned him critical acclaim and many awards, including the Grand Prix du Disque Charles Cros and the Prix Amadeus. Márquez’s “Música del Delphin”, released with ECM in 2007, earning significant acclaim. His discography further includes groundbreaking recordings of guitar and orchestra works such as A fuoco by Luca Francesconi with the Ensemble Intercontemporain conducted by the Finnish Susanna Mälkki.
