Finnish Air Force Big Band will combine two masters of lyrical melody in the third AALTO concert of the year. The evening is dedicated to the guitar legend Pat Metheny, whose melodies are well-known to jazz audiences worldwide. The soloist of the evening is Manuel Dunkel, one of Finland’s most renowned tenor saxophonists, whose melodic and nuanced solos complement this world-embracing ensemble.
The concert will last about 2 hours including an interval.
