Information
Jarno Kotiranta’s Verge exhibition will be on display at the Winter Garden of Tampere Hall from February 16 to March 9, 2026. Admission is free, and the exhibition is open during Tampere Hall’s regular opening hours. The exhibition is fully accessible.
Exhibition Verge is the latest iteration of an ongoing and evolving project, adding to the ever-growing imaginarium of liminality, presence and interrelation. Almost like in a lucid dream, the subject weaves itself into its surroundings revealing a glimpse of multiplaned worlds within world.
Jarno Kotiranta is a Tampere-based photographer and visual artist. He has studied time and space related arts in BTK, Berlin and KABK, The Hague. In his work, or better visual research, he focuses on banality, its metaphysical aspects, inviting the audience to examine reality’s uncanny nature through ambiguous representations.
