30 years with no mercy for cellos nor any compromises on quality! Total Cello Ensemble is a unique group of six top cellists, that pushes the musical boundaries from classical to popular music. A wonderful addition to the ensemble’s 30th anniversary concert is provided by an internationally renowned top soprano Marjukka Tepponen, who was last seen in Tampere in the radiant lead role of the La Traviata opera.

In this concert, you will experience Formula 1 races on cellos, intoxicating tangos, and sweet harmonies of Sibelius from “Jäger March” to the soundscapes of Lapland’s wilderness. Each cellist will have their special moments in the pieces, creating nuanced musical details.
Total Cello Ensemble must be experienced live!


The concert will last about 2 hours including an interval.
