Born in Turku on 17 December 1946, Pepe Willberg is a beloved Finnish singer and composer. He spent his early childhood in Turku and moved to Helsinki at the age of nine. He began his music career in the early 1960s as a rhythm guitarist in the band The Islanders and later went on to perform as the lead singer of bands such as Jormas and Pepe & Paradise, as well as pursuing a successful solo career.

In addition, Willberg has been involved in ensembles such as Mestarit and Pop Tenorit and has performed as a soloist with numerous bands and city orchestras.

“I’m excited that in my anniversary year I get to perform a wide selection of my work from over the years with top musicians and in various settings. I’m also grateful that my singing voice is still strong and that I have the stamina to perform demanding concerts. The audience’s positive feedback gives me tremendous energy,” says Pepe Willberg.

The concert lasts approximately 2.5 hours, including an intermission.
