The international young professional musicians’ La Chapelle Sauvage Orchestra will arrive in Finland in September with their concert The Music of Hans Zimmer.
The concert will feature a fine selection of the famous composer’s most beloved pieces. The orchestra, conducted by Karel De Wilde, will be joined by talented Belgian soprano Louise Kuyvenhoven as the soloist.
In the September concerts held in Finland, the audience will hear the most beloved classics of film music, performed for the first time in Finland by the Belgian La Chapelle Sauvage Orchestra. The orchestra, made up of young professional musicians, is led by its founder, Karel De Wilde. The soloist, soprano Louise Kuyvenhoven, is an exceptionally talented musician who has been selected to join the special training program of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, one of the most prestigious music academies in the world. Louise has also performed at the Belgian National Opera and is a member of the French Lyon Opéra Studio.
The concert’s program will feature a collection of compositions by Hans Zimmer, who has won countless awards, including an Oscar, two Golden Globes, and four Grammys. Pieces from films such as The Da Vinci Code, Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar, Kung Fu Panda, The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Sherlock Holmes will be performed.
The concerts will take place in intimate venues, where the musical experience will be enhanced by video clips from the films and photographs from the era of the movies.
