The final of the Tampere Piano Competition will bring together six soloists to perform piano concertos chosen from the competition’s list of concerts. The Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra will be conducted by Jan Söderblom. At the end of the two-day final, the winners of the 2025 Tampere Piano Competition and the recipients of recognition prizes will be announced.
The Tampere Piano Competition, held every four years, is the most significant national piano competition. The 2025 competition is supported by the Pirkanmaa Regional Fund of the Finnish Cultural Foundation, the Sibelius Academy Foundation, the Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation, the Society of Finnish Composers, along with the City of Tampere and Tampere Conservatoire. The competition is organized by the Tampere Piano Society.
