The charming puppet theatre performance by Teatteri Hevosenkenkä takes the whole family to Moominvalley
The Invisible Child is Tove Jansson’s wise story about a girl named Ninni, who becomes visible again thanks to Little My’s cleverness and the Moomin family’s love. Ninni has experienced neglect, which gradually made her invisible.
But then, on a rainy autumn evening, Ninni is brought to the Moomin family. And lo and behold, warmth and love begin to make her visible again. Ninni finds her place within the Moomin family. However, becoming visible requires a special skill—one that Little My knows how to teach. What could it be? You’ll find out at the theatre.
The high-quality puppet theatre performance is produced by Teatteri Hevosenkenkä from Espoo. The show lasts approximately 40 minutes and is suitable for children aged 3 and up.
The performance is part of the Moomin 80 – The Grand Birthday Celebration theme day, which will be held at Tampere-talo on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in honor of Tove Jansson’s birthday.
