The world’s first InfraBIM Open wrapped − continuation confirmed

The world’s first InfraBIM Open conference was held on February 6th and 7th in Tampere Hall. The conference offered two days filled with interesting speakers, bright ideas and new connections. The participants learned all about doing Building Information Modeling (BIM) and infrastructure the Nordic way. The event goal was to increase the knowledge of the efficient and smart use of the materials and space, to ensure the information flow and to strenghthen the cooperation between the infra operators. This is the Nordic Way in building. The organizer was buildingSmart Nordic  – a forum for BIM Collaboration.

InfraBIM Open provided interesting and topical performances and speeches. Conference guests also participated in workshops related to essential themes of the industry. They had great opportunities to discuss and network with the other professionals in the same field of business.

After the event

InfraBIM Open’s main partner and a member of buildingSmart Finland is Novatron, a Finnish company and expert of digitalized earthmoving. BIM Manager Petteri Palviainen says that the conference met the high expectations and everything went smoothly. “On our perspective all the arrangements worked as planned and also the guests complimented the event. The facilities were functional and spacious, all the services including catering were excellent and there were not any technical issues.” Positive feedback leads to happy news.
