Music Counsellor Lasse Hoikka & Souvarit – Concert Tour
The autumn 2026 tour is Music Counsellor Lasse Hoikka and Souvarit’s way of saying thank you to their audience. The evening will feature Souvarit’s most beloved songs, audience favourites from throughout the years, as well as new material. The music takes listeners to the landscapes and stories of Finnish Lapland, evoking memories and transporting audiences to the beautiful scenery of the north.
Souvarit have been entertaining audiences since 1978. Over the years, they have accumulated countless kilometres on the road and performed at an immeasurable number of events. Last year, the group embarked on a sold-out concert tour celebrating Hoikka’s 70th birthday.
Over the years, Lasse Hoikka & Souvarit have received numerous honours and awards, including the Kullervo Linna Award in 1995 and the title of Best Dance Orchestra on the Finnish television programme Suomen parhaat. The group has also been honoured with a commemorative plaque in Rovaniemi in recognition of its long-standing and significant contribution to local culture.
In May 2026, President Alexander Stubb awarded Lasse Hoikka the honorary title of Music Counsellor (musiikkineuvos).

Enjoy a buffet-style selection featuring, among other delights, locally produced cheeses, cold cuts, and mouth-watering marinated treats. Special dietary requirements are accommodated based on advance notice at the time of booking. A pre-booked seat at the antipasto table served before the performance €22.90. The table is set 1.5 hours before the performance begins on the 3rd floor of Tampere Hall. There is a bar in the space where drinks can be ordered on the spot. Check whether the menu is available for the performance and come enjoy!
