The Conscript Band of the Finnish Defence Forces is ready to take you back to the first decade of the new millennium with its MILLENNIUM tour!
The band’s massive mega-ensemble transports audiences straight into the atmosphere of the 2000s with a concert packed full of the decade’s most legendary hits. Expect a nostalgic trip back to middle school discos, The Voice music channel, and the rise of Finnish artists onto the international scene — not forgetting the era’s biggest global hits.
The incredible youthful energy of the conscript musicians is guaranteed to sweep the audience along, as this orchestra of more than 70 musicians — combining concert band, strings, and showband elements, and made up entirely of musicians born in the 2000s — will charge the audience’s batteries from zero to one hundred.
Now it’s time to pass the best millennium-era nostalgia hits from one generation to the next — not on burned CDs or MP3 files, but live on stage!

Enjoy a buffet-style selection featuring, among other delights, locally produced cheeses, cold cuts, and mouth-watering marinated treats. Special dietary requirements are accommodated based on advance notice at the time of booking. A pre-booked seat at the antipasto table served before the performance €22.90. The table is set 1.5 hours before the performance begins on the 3rd floor of Tampere Hall. There is a bar in the space where drinks can be ordered on the spot. Check whether the menu is available for the performance and come enjoy!
