Songs of love, pain, friendship and death, as well as life and ourselves, will be filling Tampere Hall’s Small Auditorium. Giving audiences the fiery gift of tango are professor of dance arts, choreographer and performing artist Jorma Uotinen and Trio Avec.

Jorma Uotinen puts both body and soul into every performance he gives, while Trio Avec bring a perfection that will make you re-evaluate what you know about art. Prepare for an intense experience: Uotinen’s captivating on-stage persona given dramatic shape in tango, where thought becomes dance.

The concert programme includes the most beloved compositions of Astor Piazzolla (1921–1992), Kurt Weill (1900–1950), Jorma Panula (born 1930) and many other artists, such as ‘Balada para Mi Muerte’, ‘Olen Mikä Olen’, ‘Tango Notturno’, ‘La Cumparsita’, ‘Oblivion’ and ‘Rakkauden Jälkeen’.

The charismatic and widely adored Jorma Uotinen and his musician friends have been astonishing audiences for over two decades. Together, they have toured the Nordics, as well as France, Germany, Ukraine and Croatia.
