Carefully considered choices on the plate

Tampere Hall’s restaurant operations are covered by the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. Its requirements include areas such as raw materials, food waste prevention, waste sorting, and the use of water and energy.

Our restaurants are at level five of the Steps to Organic programme. This means that we continuously use at least 20 significant ingredients as organic products. We also use other organic products according to availability and work with wholesalers and local producers.

We use locally sourced food and produce from Tampere Hall’s rooftop garden according to the season. Food waste is monitored, and serving quantities are planned based on demand. Unused food that can be safely donated is delivered to food aid organisations.
