Suzi Quatro has performed in Finland multiple times before. Her shows have always been hugely popular here, most recently at Tampere Hall last March and at Kulttuuritalo in Helsinki in December.

Suzi Quatro was born in Detroit in 1950 into a musical family, and she started performing early as a child by playing the bongo drums in her father’s jazz group. Suzi’s proper rock career began in the early 1970s when a talent scout found her and offered her a solo career in England.

The first hit song by Suzi was “Can the Can”, which was number one on the charts in various countries in 1973. In quick succession followed many other successful songs, such as “Devil Gate Drive”, “48 Crash”, and “Daytona Demon”.

So far Suzi Quatro has recorded 18 studio albums, the most recent one, Face to Face, together with KT Tunstall last year.
