Legendary English band’s farewell tour celebrating their 60-year journey comes to Tampere Hall.

The legendary British band the Animals are celebrating their 60-year journey this spring at Tampere Hall. The Animals, who invaded the rock-and-roll world in the 1960s in the wake of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, are probably best known for their hits ‘House of the Rising Sun’, ‘Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood’, ‘It’s My Life’ and ‘We Gotta Get Out of This Place’. The Animals’ current lineup will be visiting Tampere as part of their Farewell Tour.

The Animals were the second English band after the Beatles to top the American music charts. Over the course of the band’s long existence, it achieved twenty global top ten hit records. The Animals inspired musicians like Bruce Springsteen, the Kinks and Led Zeppelin.
