The objective of Alumni Day was to strengthen alumni engagement with the university and to create a meaningful meeting place for diverse audiences. In designing the parts delivered at Tampere Hall, the guiding principle was that content and personal encounters should have the space they deserved. Talo Events’ role was to ensure that production, scheduling and services supported this objective, and that the overall event progressed smoothly and in a controlled manner from start to finish.

Clear Division of Responsibilities Enabled Smooth Collaboration

Overall responsibility for Alumni Day rested with Tampere University’s project team, who led the planning, concept development, scheduling and overall management of the event. For the elements delivered at Tampere Hall, Talo Events acted as the production partner, responsible for the practical implementation on site.

Talo Events’ responsibilities included technical production, catering and operational coordination on the event day at Tampere Hall. The clear division of responsibilities enabled seamless collaboration: the client team led the content and overall direction, while Talo Events ensured that delivery matched the plans and that the event progressed professionally from beginning to end.

The event agency services of Talo Events were also utilised as part of the wider service package.
