The Sonaatti 2 space on the ground floor of Tampere Hall, decorated with a music theme, is a functional space especially for meetings.
Meeting rooms Sonaatti 1 and Sonaatti 2 can be found on the ground floor of the Tampere building. These facilities are ideal for various meetings and trainings, but can also serve as an exhibition space or for a different functional program.
Sonaatti 2 is themed into the world of music. The magnification of the score on the wall comes from the caches of the Tampere Philharmonic, and represents Finnish concert music played by the orchestra. Sheet music topics are Sibelius’s Historical Images Series No. 1, Op. 25 of the second part, known as Scana. The picture shows the notes of the conductor, Eero Kosonen, the orchestra’s long-term director (1932–1969). On the wall of the space you will also find the orchestra’s seating arrangement in illustrated form, and posters as collections of the orchestra’s various productions and “retired” instruments.
At the back of the space is a small lounge area with sofas and exercise balls for relaxing during a meeting break or for group work.
Behind the wall you will find an identical Sonaatti 1 space, which can be accessed from a wide double door that opens from the wall between the rooms. The spaces can be used, for example, as a combination of lecture and exhibition space, in which case the entire ground floor of the Tampere Hall is at your disposal.
