Arttu Wiskari returns to concert halls after almost five years

Arttu Wiskari, whose new album Suomi Finland perkele will be released in late November, embarks on a concert hall tour in January, performing songs from across his career. Accompanied by an expanded band, he will also perform songs requested by audiences.

After spending recent years performing at clubs and festivals, Arttu Wiskari returns to concert halls in January following a long break. The Suomi Finland PRKL concert hall tour celebrates his new album of the same name, due for release on 27 November 2026. Alongside its powerful title track, the album features previously unreleased songs and the gold- and platinum-certified streaming hits Elämän kova koulu, Monaco and AAAA. The tour promises an exceptionally wide-ranging selection of songs from Wiskari’s career.

“Although the tour is named after my new album, it will cover my career in much greater depth than any show I’ve done before. You’ll hear songs from the beginning, the middle and the present day – including plenty of requests that we haven’t been able to play at festivals, for example, because there simply hasn’t been enough time,” says Arttu Wiskari.

Wiskari is putting together a larger band than usual for the tour. The expanded line-up allows for varied arrangements, with surprises also planned for some locations. All music will be performed entirely live, without backing tracks. The tour brings the focus back to the music and the songs, placing Wiskari’s compositions and the stories within his lyrics at the heart of each concert.

“The shows will be filled with joy, laughter, surprises and stories behind the songs that have never been told before. I’ve reached a point in my career where I finally understand what performing is all about. These concerts won’t follow a set formula – each one will be truly unique. Come and join us!” says Wiskari.

Wiskari last toured concert halls in 2022, following the release of his 2020 album Suomen muotoisen pilven alla. His previous studio album, the Christmas-themed Varpunen tuulikaapissa, was released in 2024. Wiskari has released six studio albums in total.

Arttu Wiskari’s career began with his self-titled debut album in 2011, featuring hits including Mökkitie and Tuntematon potilas. Over the years, he has also become a familiar face on television through programmes such as The Voice of Finland, Tähdet, tähdet and Vain elämää.
