A CCR tribute band touring the world for four decades comes to Finland!

The British band Clearwater Creedence Revival arrives in Finland this October as part of their Fortunate Son tour. Made up of professional musicians, the group brings the timeless music of Creedence Clearwater Revival to the stage.

Led by John Fogerty, Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) is one of the most iconic bands in rock history. The band rose to major success with their second album in 1969 and disbanded in 1972 after several highly successful years. Their classic songs—Proud Mary, Bad Moon Rising, Have You Ever Seen the Rain, Born on the Bayou, Fortunate Son, Down on the Corner, and Up Around the Bend—are still played worldwide on radio and streaming platforms. Now, these hits can be experienced live through Clearwater Creedence Revival’s performances.

Clearwater Creedence Revival has toured globally across four decades, performing from Hong Kong to Paris, Prague to Brussels, and Berlin. The band has impressed audiences around the world, with concerts often ending in standing ovations and multiple encores.

The band consists of five British musicians, all with experience working alongside top names in the music industry.

Singer, bassist, and guitarist Peter Barton is one of the founding members. For over two decades, he has also performed as a vocalist with Animals & Friends alongside John Steel, a founding member of The Animals, and Micky Gallagher, who played with the band in the 1960s. Barton’s career includes performances with legends such as Steve Cropper of The Blues Brothers and Spencer Davis.

Alongside Barton, the lineup features Jim Kirkpatrick (guitar), often dubbed “the English Joe Bonamassa”; Alan Sagar (bass), with a background in blues rock; Geoff Hammond (drums and vocals), who began touring in the 1960s; and the highly musical Jack Herbert (keyboards and vocals), regarded by many as one of the world’s finest piano and Hammond organ players. He has performed with numerous mainstream artists, including Mo Pleasure (Michael Jackson, Ray Charles) and Mark Brzezicki (Big Country, Eric Clapton).

Kirkpatrick, Sagar, and Hammond also bring extensive experience from live performances and studio collaborations with well-known artists and bands.
