Jenna Arvola: Beginning
Beginning is Jenna Arvola’s first art exhibition and brings together works created over the course of her life.
Information
Jenna Arvola’s Beginning exhibition will be on display at the Winter Garden of Tampere Hall from May 27 to June 10, 2026. Admission is free, and the exhibition is open during Tampere Hall’s regular opening hours. The exhibition is fully accessible.
Beginning is Jenna Arvola’s first art exhibition and brings together works created over the course of her life. The exhibition features a wide range of art forms, including representational and abstract works, ceramics, paintings, drawings, and poetry.
“The exhibition as a whole is a single artwork that I could describe as a self-portrait. Visually, it tells the story of a life lived, while the poems give form to life’s most painful experiences. Alku takes its name from the fact that the exhibition includes works from early childhood to the present day. It represents the beginning of my entire life, and as my first exhibition, it is also the beginning of something new,” Arvola reflects.
