Soul singer Jepa Lambert, familiar from television, brings the Soulful Christmas tour to concert halls

Finland’s best-known soul singer Jepa Lambert will once again embark on the eagerly awaited Soulful Christmas concert tour at the end of 2026. Previously moving audiences in atmospheric church venues, the concert experience arrives at Tampere Hall on Saturday, December 19 together with the Sounds of Mercy gospel choir.

“I wanted to bring the atmosphere of an African American Christmas church service into concert halls — that feeling of joy and empowerment, but also peace, warmth, and the presence of other people,” Lambert says about the upcoming tour.

Soulful Christmas offers a unique musical experience for the holiday season, where the warm spirit of Christmas meets grooving soul music and the communal power of gospel. The concerts feature beloved Christmas classics as well as soulful new arrangements in which the depth of soul, the joy of gospel, and the groove of live performance embrace listeners in the warmth and calm of Christmas.

Joining Lambert on stage are outstanding musicians: pianist Maria Ilmoniemi, singer-guitarist Teri Mantere, and Jepa’s Gospel Group vocalists Jonnu Heikkilä and Elli Kyyrö, of which Mantere is also a member.

“If you come to my concert alone, you still won’t have to be alone there — no one will. I want everyone to experience a sense of community and for the music to truly touch and speak to the heart,” Lambert says.

Lambert is one of the most versatile artists on the Finnish music scene. She is widely known from television programs such as Elämäni biisi and The Voice of Finland, as well as from numerous performances on tours with both Finnish and international artists. Lambert has also performed for several years as a backing vocalist for Finland’s Eurovision representatives. Her powerful interpretations, warm charisma, and exceptional voice have made her a highly sought-after performer for both tours and television appearances.

The stalls area in the Small Auditorium is designated as an 18+ licensed area. Boxes 1–4 are unrestricted seating areas open to all ages. Guests with tickets to the 18+ area may bring drinks purchased before the performance or during the intermission into the auditorium.

Please note that the age limit of 18 in the licensed seating area is strictly enforced, and minors are not permitted.
