The lead vocalist and guitarist of Keiski & ENO, the charismatic and versatile Dimitri Keiski, is the winner of Sweden’s True Talent 2011 and the recent recipient of the 2025 Tanssin Tähdet Audience Award for Male Artist of the Year.

The band formerly known as PNP, originally registered by drummer Pasi Rissanen, has recently changed its name to ENO. Rather than referring to the Finnish word for “uncle,” the name is an abbreviation of Entisten Nuorten Orkesteri (“The Former Youth Orchestra”). The change reflects a nostalgic idea of what best describes the group’s time-worn appearance, repertoire, and state of mind.

Alongside Rissanen, the other “former youths”—both in age and appearance—in ENO’s colorful lineup are bassist and acrobat Jari Heino, keyboardist and spirited accordion virtuoso Taisto Lunkka, and singing folk musician and eternal teenager Pekka Kuorikoski, who plays violin and keyboards.

Together, this ensemble of “former young men” creates an evening filled with fond memories through nostalgic music. The repertoire features a wide variety of beloved evergreen classics from the 1960s and 1970s, along with a few more recent hits—if they can still be called recent—from the early 1980s.

These “former youths,” and especially Dimitri Keiski, have become nothing short of a phenomenon in a remarkably short time. Dimitri’s unique charisma and incomparable singing voice have captivated both dance audiences and concertgoers who simply come to listen to great music, touching their hearts and souls.

The recipe for their success has been simple: Keiski & ENO perform the music they truly love, and they perform it from the heart. The familiar songs remain instantly recognizable, yet in the hands of this ensemble they seem almost new again. The orchestra presents them in its own distinctive style while honoring the original songs, their era, and their audience.
