Tampere Chamber Music Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary – it’s time to celebrate! Audiences can enjoy the festival’s rich and versatile programme all around the city throughout the entire week, from Monday to Sunday, 19–25 January 2026.
The festival promotes holistic well-being through chamber music and dance, and highlights the dialogue between art and science. This year’s theme, “Dancing with Colours and Light”, explores the essence of music and well-being through concerts, workshops and lectures.
The artists appearing at the festival include Artistic Director and pianist Heini Kärkkäinen, violinists Réka Szilvay, Priya Mitchell and Laura Vikman, violist Lars Anders Tomter, cellists Robert Cohen and Torleif Thedéen, clarinettist Christoffer Sundqvist, pianist Natacha Kudritskaya, dancers Minna Tervamäki and Atte Kilpinen, saxophonist Jukka Perko, Jay Kortehisto and his band, as well as the specially assembled TCM Sinfonietta conducted by Tiina Kaukinen.
The speakers and lecturers include renowned physicist Esa Räsänen, vocal pedagogue and relaxation instructor Nelli Nyman, professor of neurology Seppo Soinila, and dancer–choreographer Tiina Lindfors. Journalist Ruben Stiller will interview actress Seela Sella.
