The legendary British band The Animals celebrates its 60th anniversary once again at Tampere Hall. Following in the footsteps of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, The Animals conquered the world in the 1960s and are known for their massive hits such as House of the Rising Sun, Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood, It’s My Life, and We Gotta Get Out of This Place. The current lineup of The Animals arrives in Tampere as part of the band’s farewell tour.
The Animals was the second-ever British band, after The Beatles, to reach number one on the U.S. charts. Throughout their extensive recording career, the band has achieved a total of twenty top 10 hits worldwide. The Animals have been cited as influences by artists such as Bruce Springsteen, The Kinks, and Led Zeppelin.
