WOMEX gathers over 2 500 participants from almost hundred countries at Tampere Hall
WOMEX, the World Music Expo, is the most international music meeting in the world and the biggest conference of the global music scene, featuring a trade fair, talks, films and a showcase festival. The city of Tampere and Tampere Hall as the main event location, have the honor to host the expo this year. Tampere Hall, established in 1990, is the largest conference and concert centre in the Nordic countries. WOMEX celebrates its 25th anniversary in Tampere. This is a significant accomplishment as it marks a quarter of a century in the music business and celebrates a prosperous future in the global music market. Over 2 500 professionals come together from almost 100 countries. This makes WOMEX not only the number one networking platform for the world music industry, but also the most diverse music meeting worldwide. At Tampere Hall, there is a record of 250 exhibitors at the trade fare.
