Blues rock for the Christmas season – it wouldn’t be Christmas without Erja Lyytinen and friends’ Christmas tour!
Erja Lyytinen is beloved by audiences as a guitarist and singer, but she is also the host of one of Finland’s most celebrated Christmas tours, welcoming exciting guest artists each year to share the festive spirit through music. On the 2026 tour, Lyytinen will be joined by special guests Petra Gargano and Jussu Pöyhönen.
This now-classic concert format includes all the familiar elements audiences love: guitar solos, favorite songs from Erja and her friends throughout the years, as well as new interpretations and rock arrangements of Christmas songs. The two-hour concert features joint performances by the artists accompanied by Erja Lyytinen’s band, along with solo performances from Erja and the guest artists. Each guest adds their own unique flavor to the evening’s musical selection, creating a magical Christmas atmosphere for listeners.

Internationally acclaimed guitarist and singer Erja Lyytinen is known for her powerful expression, blending blues, rock, and progressive influences. With a career spanning more than 20 albums, extensive international touring, and numerous awards and accolades, she is regarded as one of Finland’s most respected guitarists. In 2026, her 50th anniversary year as an artist culminates with this tour.
Petra Gargano is known from the band Tiktak as well as her successful solo career. Her strong interpretations and stage presence have made her a beloved performer. Christmas is especially meaningful to Petra—her version of Tulkoon joulu has already surpassed 840,000 streams on Spotify. She has also previously appeared on the popular Raskasta joulua tours, bringing festive spirit through her music both to concert halls and into people’s homes.
Jussu Pöyhönen is best known as the singer and songwriter of Suurlähettiläät, as well as for his work in radio and musical theatre. His style is characterized by melodicism, a strong groove, and deeply personal lyrics. Who could better bring the spirit of Christmas into people’s hearts than this beloved artist, known across Finland for his iconic voice and interpretations?

Enjoy a buffet-style selection featuring, among other delights, locally produced cheeses, cold cuts, and mouth-watering marinated treats. Special dietary requirements are accommodated based on advance notice at the time of booking. A pre-booked seat at the antipasto table served before the performance €22.90. The table is set 1.5 hours before the performance begins on the 3rd floor of Tampere Hall. There is a bar in the space where drinks can be ordered on the spot. Check whether the menu is available for the performance and come enjoy!
