Host and event industry professional Sanna Salovaara celebrated her wedding with her spouse at Tuulensuu Palace on 29 December 2025. The celebration, attended by around 150 guests, unfolded over the course of the day: the morning began at the Palace, the wedding ceremony took place at Tampere Cathedral, and the party continued back at the Palace from the afternoon late into the evening.

For Sanna, the choice of venue was exceptionally clear. She had worked as a host at Tuulensuu Palace at numerous events and had seen first-hand how events are carried out there. For this reason, the idea of celebrating her own wedding in the same venue came naturally.

“I didn’t really have any other options in mind. I had hosted numerous events at the Palace, and the venue was absolutely perfect for our important day.”

Ja tavallaan silloin kun sä oot siellä tuotannossa, ajatukset on siinä tuotannossa, niin se on pois siitä päivästä ja siitä hetkessä elämisestä ja ihmisten kanssa olemisesta – ja siitä rakkauskuplasta.”

When everything works, the experience changes

When the whole event was in professional hands, the impact was felt directly in how the day unfolded. Looking back, Sanna particularly describes how exceptionally effortless it was for her to simply be part of the celebration.

“No one came to ask me anything about the arrangements during the day. Afterwards, I kept wondering how much I actually enjoyed the day – I was able to focus completely on celebrating with the people who mattered most.”

This created space for what matters most on a wedding day: being present in the moment and spending time together.

The atmosphere matched expectations – and ultimately even exceeded them. The celebration offered guests the experiences and wow moments the couple had hoped to share.
