Pianist Ville Hautakangas performs four Finnish premieres in the second part of the concert series
In the second part of the concert series, pianist Ville Hautakangas performs new compositions by Paavo Korpijaakko, Petri Nieminen, Minna Leinonen and Henri Sokka. In all, 12 premieres of Finnish composers will be performed in the concert series. Hautakangas performs the works in three concerts, four pieces at a time.

Ville Hautakangas has been the pianist of Tampere Filharmonia since 2002. Hautakangas has taught piano and accompanied at Tampere Music Academy since 2007. Contemporary music group TampereRaw employed Hautakangas as its permanent pianist in 2010. He has studied, for instance, in the Hochschule für Musik ”Hanns Eisler” Academy of Music in Berlin. In 2000, Ville Hautakangas was awarded the II prize in the Leevi Madetoja Piano Competition in Oulu.
