Released in 1969, Abbey Road is one of The Beatles’ most influential records and their swansong. Now, after fifty years, a remastered anniversary edition of Abbey Road has topped UK album charts once again.
Previously known for singing and playing guitar in Clifters, Jiri Nikkinen‘s journey as a musician began from this particular record, which sparked in him his future dream in life: performing the songs of The Beatles. The whole tribute band names Abbey Road as their favourite album – and the happiness and peace that it brings is very much reflected in their playing.
