Tampere Hall, Small auditorium - Yliopistonkatu 55, 33100
Tampere, Finland

Lauri Porra is one of Finland’s most highly esteemed musicians. The great-grandson of Jean Sibelius was long involved with the metal band Stratovarius and has composed music for cinema, theatre and television.

Lauri Porra Flyover Ensemble’s music goes from explosive rock-jazz interpretation and solo performances that are at times downright shameless, to crystalline cinematic tones and minimalistic, contemplative interpretation.

The ensemble’s artists come from various musical disciplines, each bringing their strengths to the musical brew. Together with Porra, they create a unique musical trip to a place where the limitations of genre do not stand between the music and the listener.
