Samba Touré is a guitarist, singer and composer from Mali, and his African blues grows from the inheritance of legendary Ali Farka Touré. Samba Touré has become one of Africa’s most significant blues artists in the 2000’s, and his enchanting music and incredible concerts delight audiences all over the world.

His albums have been praised by Rolling Stone, Mojo, and The Guardian, and topped world music charts. Touré’s most recent album, Wande, was released in May 2018, and it is described as his masterpiece. His live performances are full of energy and his stories make interesting elements of the Malian culture come alive for the audiences.

This is an evening with nuanced and even experimental African blues that will rattle straight into your soul and heart.

”For anyone who feels that the well of American blues is almost drained, it may be times to switch continents.”
– The Times

”His voice is resonant, the rhythms have a relentless groove and his guitar burns with the intensity of the desert sun… Samba is a man whose time has come.”
– Songlines
