Tavicon moved in to Tampere Hall in April 2018. The company has lot of experience in organising international congresses, conferences, meetings and seminars.
Tampere Hall’s Sales Manager Leena Sulonen thinks that Tavicon is a perfect match business-wise to join the Tampere Hall family. Both parties will benefit from each other and can create positive synergy.
– They provide important services that Tampere Hall does not produce itself such as meeting materials, badges, bookings of hotel rooms and organising supplementary program to the guests. Absolutely we will join our forces to be able to serve the meeting and congress customers even better! Together we can provide more comprehensive service.
Tavicon’s CEO Karoliina Sunell describes the company as local with lot of love for Tampere but yet nationwide. They have operated for a long time all over Finland. They share a common goal with Tampere Hall: to obtain more international congresses to Tampere.
Sunell was happy to hear about Tampere Hall’s new neighbour: a brand new Courtyard by Marriott hotel opens its doors by the end of the year 2019. An underpass will connect the hotel and the congress and culture centre.
– Without a doubt, the hotel is going to be a benefit to us all. We hope that the city will proceed quickly with the invigoration of Tampere airport. They could aim for having more flights from significant destinations abroad. Tampere Hall has a great location, with easy and fast reach from the airport and railway station.
Sunell is impressed by Tampere Hall’s innovations and renewing capability.
– When the new wing of the building opened within the venues such as Maestro, Duetto and Riffi, Tampere Hall became more popular and known as a versatile meeting and congress centre. The new venues are very adaptable for different kind of customer needs.
